Over the years David has drawn on his carpentry, mechanical and painting skills to design and build specialty props and set pieces for various shows, among these are:

  •  A foam fire axe and it's wooden mate  stuck in “drywall”

  • An 8 foot square gift box that opens to become a life size cardboard book

  • The classic rain effect outside of a window

  • An 8 foot long replica of the San Francisco Bridge seen from outside of a window

  • Clamshell footlights that travel into position on “train tracks”

  • A rigid foam brick wall

  • A 1940's “chrome look” working “On The Air” sign

  • Decaying plaster wall with visible wood/brick interior

  • A breakaway flower vase

  • Dioramas based on the game “Clue”

  • A precarious looking collapsing second floor loft

  • A revolving bed hidden in a wall

  • A Dublin style working street Lamp

  • A light weight cast iron stove

  • Small piano

  • A freestanding working door

  • A working door that opens both from the side (traditional) and from the top (drawbridge)

  • A double sided painting that revolves within it's frame
